REHEARSALS

Rehearsals resume Thursday, Feb. 9, at 7 p.m. in Unitarian Universalist Church on Ford Avenue, Oneonta.

Regular rehearsals are from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Thursdays, Unitarian Universalist Society of Oneonta, 12 Ford Ave.

CONCERT ATTIRE

Men: tuxedo or black suit, white shirt, black bow tie, black socks and black shoes.
Women: full length black skirt, black hose, black long-sleeved blouse with appropriate neckline (no low-cut or turtleneck tops).

All chorus members should refrain from wearing scent.

DUES

All chorus members are required to pay dues for each semester in which they sing. Dues must be paid in full by the third rehearsal of the semester to the treasurer.

A limited number of scholarships are available for singers who might otherwise be unable to participate. Scholarship requests should be in writing and given to the treasurer by the second rehearsal.

ATTENDANCE POLICY

To be eligible to sing in any concert, members may not miss more than two rehearsals. If three or four rehearsals are missed, a member's participation will be at the director's discretion.

Arriving 30 minutes late for a rehearsal or leaving 30 minutes early constitutes half an absence.

SHEET MUSIC

Chorus members are reminded to treat their sheet music with care. Those who wish to purchase the sheet music may do so; contact the CCS librarian for more information.

Those who are borrowing their music are asked to use only #2 pencil to make any markings. All markings must be erased before music is returned at the end of the semester. A post-concert critique and discussion session is usually held the Thursday after the concert; music can be returned at that time.
